Certificate in Christian Ministry

Prerequisite – None. 

The Certificate in Christian Ministry (CCM) is a 12 credit hour academic program. This certificate program is specifically designed to help you gain a deeper understanding of theology and biblical doctrine. Through four fundamental courses, you will dig deeper into the Old and New Testaments with special emphasis on key chapters, important persons, places, and events.

With courses in evangelism and leadership, you will be prepared to help meet the needs of various groups within your church or ministry. Whether you are seeking to grow in your current role or explore other areas of ministry, our Christian Ministry certification program will equip you with the knowledge and training you need to be a success.

BIBLE DIPLOMA PROGRAM

Bible Diploma in Christian Ministry

Prerequisite – None.

The Bible Diploma in Christian Ministry (BDCM) is a 24 credit hour academic program. This diploma program is specifically designed to help you gain a deeper understanding of theology and biblical doctrine. Through eight fundamental courses, you will dig deeper into the Old and New Testaments with special emphasis on key chapters, important persons, places, and events.

Pneumatology, the ministry of the Holy Spirit, provides a simple presentation regarding Holy Spirit Baptism from a classical Pentecostal/Charismatic perspective. Power Principles answers the heart cry of those who have hungered for reality instead of religion. It will move you from being a spectator to a demonstrator of the power of God.

With courses in evangelism and leadership, and introduction to christian counseling, you will be prepared to help meet the needs of various groups within your church or ministry. Whether you are seeking to grow in your current role or explore other areas of ministry, our Christian Ministry diploma program will equip you with the knowledge and training you need to be a success.

Associate of Arts in Biblical Studies

Prerequisite: A High School Diploma or GED is required and should be completed before beginning college courses. Twenty courses are required for a total of 60 credit hours to attain an Associate Degree.

VLBI's Associate of Arts in Biblical Studies (A.A.) is a two-year degree program that will provide you with a foundation for various ministry and missions positions, social service, or personal spiritual development. The curriculum emphasizes Christian values as part of every course. A key focus is spiritual formation; developing a Christ-centered character that is visible through servanthood to God and others.

Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies

Prerequisites: An earned Associate's Degree from an accredited College, Institute, University or Seminary. A transcript from college/colleges where degree/degrees were conferred are required. An earned Associate Degree (60 credit hours) from an accredited school is required, in addition to successful completion of the B.A. (60 credit hours), to complete the total 120 credit hours necessary for a Bachelors Degree to be conferred by VLBI. 

The Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies (B.A.) degree program will equip you to interpret the Bible for yourself and others. Your ability to understand and apply the Bible will be enhanced through historical and contextual exploration of scripture. This degree is available in a traditional classroom setting, as well as online. The online biblical studies degree option gives you the flexibility of completing assignments on your schedule.

The goal for graduates of the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Biblical Studies degree program is not to master the Bible, but rather to be mastered by the Bible and to be servants of God to those with whom you come in contact. This degree not only allows you to understand and study the Bible, it also provides a foundation for seminary, various ministry positions, missions, social service, and/or for personal spiritual development.

Prerequisites: An earned Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College, Institute, University or Seminary. A transcript from college/colleges where undergraduate degree/degrees were conferred are required. If your bachelor's degree is from an accredited Bible college, institute, university or seminary, 36 credit hours or twelve courses are required at this level to graduate. If your degree is not from an accredited Bible school, 45 credit hours or fifteen courses are required at this level to graduate:    

The Master of Arts in Theological Studies (M.A.T.S.) is designed to provide you with an in-depth study of the Old and New Testaments, systematic theology, and the Christian Church, among other areas of interest. The program is geared towards individuals seeking an introductory graduate degree in religion to use in a supportive role in their local church or organization.

By earning your Theological Studies degree, you will be immersed in biblical studies and experiential learning as you dive into research methods and ministry.
